경기도 의왕시 서울구치소 앞에서 윤 전 대통령 지지자들이 태극기와 미국 성조기를 흔들고 있다. 김건희 여사의 의혹들을 수사하는 민중기 특별검사팀이 윤석열 전 대통령에 대한 체포영장을 집행하기 위해 서울구치소에 도착했다.

문홍주 특검보는 1일 오전 9시쯤 특검팀 소속 검사 1명, 수사관 1명과 함께 경기도 의왕시 서울구치소에 들어갔다. 이들은 우선 윤 전 대통령에게 특검팀 출석을 권유하고 이에 불응하면 수용실 앞까지 직접 가서 교도관을 지휘해 체포할 방침으로 전해졌다.

Prosecutor Moon Hong-ju, a member of the special prosecutor's team, entered the Seoul Detention Center in Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi-do, around 9 a.m. on the 1st, accompanied by one prosecutor and one investigator from the team. 윤 전 대통령은 지난달 10일 내란특검에 구속돼 서울구치소에 수용돼 있다. 특검팀은 지난달 29일과 30일 소환 조사를 시도했으나 윤 전 대통령이 건강 악화를 이유로 연이틀 불출석하자 30일 체포영장을 청구했고 법원은 31일 오전 영장을 발부했다. 체포영장 기한은 이달 7일까지다.
