Welcome! By using Learn Korean Today, you agree to these terms. They exist to keep the site useful and friendly for everyone — the plain-language summary: learn freely, be kind in the community, and don't republish our content as your own.

1. The service

Learn Korean Today provides free Korean reading materials, vocabulary tools, and community features. The service is provided free of charge and supported by advertising. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Accounts

  • You may use most of the site without an account. Signing in with Google is optional and saves your learning progress (see our Privacy Policy).
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time.

3. Community content (comments & Lounge)

  • You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the site.
  • Don't post spam, advertising, harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit material, others' personal information, or anything illegal.
  • We may moderate, edit for formatting, or remove content at our discretion to keep the community healthy.

4. Our content

Reading materials, vocabulary lists, questions, audio, and other site content are provided for your personal, non-commercial learning. Please don't scrape, mass-download, or republish them elsewhere without permission. Quoting short excerpts with a link back is always welcome.

5. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Our learning materials are generated and reviewed with care but may contain errors — they are educational aids, not authoritative references. News-based reading passages are written for language practice and should not be relied on as news reporting.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of learning data. (We do our best to keep your progress safe — but please don't make us your only copy of anything important.)

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Meaningful changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
