During her first run, Choi fell hard on her second jump, and it seemed doubtful that she would be able to compete in the second and third runs. As she was coming down the slope, Choi's board caught the edge of the slope, causing her to fall and be unable to get up for some time. The medical staff had to go onto the slope to check on her condition.

2차 시기를 앞두고 잠시 전광판에 '출전하지 않는다'(DNS)는 표시가 뜨면서 그의 몸 상태에 대한 우려가 커진 상황에서 최가온은 2차 시기에서도 도중에 넘어지고 말았습니다. 하지만 최가온은 결국 3차 시기에서 90.25점을 받아 금메달을 획득하는 대역전 드라마를 펼쳤습니다.

As the scoreboard briefly displayed "Did Not Start" (DNS) before the second run, concerns grew about Choi's condition. However, she did end up competing in the second run, only to fall again. But in the third and final run, Choi delivered an incredible performance, scoring 90.25 points to win the gold medal in a dramatic comeback.
